The House of Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa is one of the most impressive examples of Gulf Islamic architecture on the island, providing insight into 19th-century royal life. Within its halls, you’ll find period architecture and wonderful wall carvings, all beautifully preserved.

With its various stairs, beautiful archways, and charming courtyards, the exquisite decoration within the house makes it a fascinating location to explore, even though it is currently unfurnished. The structure is divided into four sections, one for the Sheikh and others for family, guests, and servants, all of which are clearly labelled in English.
